Pilot Project
A First Care pilot was set up in southern Tamil Nadu with a group of 22 RHPs.
This pilot is now in its second year. During this period 22 RHPs were successfully linked with computers and internet and a number of web based interventions were developed and introduced for this group by First Care. A revenue model has now emerged and will be established during 2009.
Location
The First Care model is currently being piloted with 22 RHPs in Sivagangai district – a predominantly rural district in southern Tamil Nadu.
